Jay,

Assuming you're in for the brookie trip Saturday, I'd like to get a decently early start (not ridiculous, but earlier than last year). The way conditions are shaping up, I'd like to hit Penns Saturday evening, which probably means being back to the camps and switching gears by 4 or so.

Farmer, Another vote that you should go!

I can't commit to anything, since I have a friend that's dependent on me for a ride, but that sounds good.

All I know is that I am going to get after em on friday night at the fire ring. It's been entirely too long (late last fall) since I properly got a swerve going. If I'm coherent in the morning, I'm most likely in.

I'll have a few Friday, but I'm not really gonna get after them until Saturday evening. It might get bad, hehe.

Of course, come Friday, I could change my mind if I'm feeling it...

I'm still deciding on where the brookie trip will go, probably will be a last minute decision. I have several options, but all are pushing an hour. I'm open to suggestion...

We can look at a few maps friday evening.

It all depends on conditions for me. I'm going to have a tough time staying off the lovely lady all day, every day if the conditions are right.

Do it, you won't regret it, even if only for one night. You'd get in a good evening of fishing and the fire ring. For a normal trip, that might not be worth it, but the fire ring and meeting everyone is worth it.

The offer still stands the following week in NW PA too.

I agree. I wouldn't be coming for the fishing, but would probably still brong some gear just in case. I think I have a Zebco 202 that I haven't even used yet.

No seriously, I do. It's for kids to use when they visit the farm.

If i come, I'll bring a case of honey to sell to help pay for gas.

Or use the money to pay the Amish kids down the road to spread mulch.

Dave,

I actually want to get some honey from you... I'd like to make a batch of mead with it.

I wouldn't mind some honey either! I use it some. But my wife loves it, uses it on pancakes and waffles instead of syrup. She gets into the various local honeys. Plus, being that I'm taking a weeklong fishing vacation, I probably need a gift. :)

Better make sure you have the camera. No one is gonna believe you caught a 20" wild tiger if you don't. I know where there might be a few, but they ain't wild.
