Dick has never made one of the Jams, sure would be nice to meet him even if he just stopped by for the day.

My plans are basically final, give or take an hour. I'll leave here Friday right after work, 4-5 p.m. time frame. Should put me there before 8 pm, enough time to throw up the tent and get organized before dark, then head over to the fire for evening festivities.

I'm gonna need to buy a load of flies. My sulphur selection has already thinned considerably, and I don't have time to tie before then....

It was good seeing JayL again on Saturday, on Spring Creek. The fishing during the afternoon was fair, not bad or good. A rise here and there and a fish coming to hand here and there. But we did get a nice spinner fall right before dark which brought some faster action.

Also, be sure to pack your food away when you're up there. I had heard Rudy talk about the bear before, but never saw it. Well, he's not joking.

I'm heading up after work today, hoping to catch some evening risers on the way. I look forward to seeing all the old gang and the new faces as well. I hope you've decided to join us, if even for the day. The two best times to see folks is probably between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM at the coffee service at Paul G's camper or between 9:15 PM and 11:30 PM at the nightly fire ring. The fire ring will last longer, but the crowd will thin as midnight approaches.

There's a lot of good information about the Events on my information page here: PAFF 2009 Jamboree Information Page

Out the door, and unlike some of us (ehem, you know who you are), I'll be trying not to have a talk with the man in gray! See you all up there!
