Does anyone know if .kmz/.kml files are available for google earth for the state game lands?

I'm aware of the apps and the new website for the state game lands but what I'm looking for is to be able to see them in google earth. There's a preset layer that comes with google earth but it's not accurate or incomplete.

Thanks.

Check the PASDA site, I believe they have a file that shows all the boundaries.

try going to the pasda website, clicking the download data tab, looking for the pa game commission under data providers, then selecting State Game Lands by hitting yellow lightning icon. then view in Google earth on next page.

Thanks! thats what i was looking for:)

great info Bob.

can get other public land boundaries to display on Google earth from pasda. if you select the PA Dept of Conservation and Natural Resources as the data provider, the last two files give state forest and state park boundaries.

k-bob,

I had a question. I think I turned you onto the HUNTGPS maps which supposedly show boundaries plus ownership info. Pretty sure you told me they have some boundaries and ownership, especially stuff like water authorities and the like, but not so much on the private land plots.

Which version do you have? It looks like there are multiple versions, some with more info than others? Just wondering that if you got the top of the line version, how much it would show in PA?

Hi pat not sure which version I have, it was maybe $75? It has some interesting public land from townships and local govts. sometimes adjoining state game lands. I have only really looked in NE PA. some water authority land up there I knew about. probably only for the specialist, it is easier to read exact locations from google earth. ? but put me on a few streams and I am happy!
