If it's the Delaware drainage it might be from the Musky Hatchery. They lose fish in floods that have been caught from Trenton to the Beaverkill. Of course even if it isn't it shows how much tiger trout can move.

I have personally stocked tiger trout that size in PA that were raised in a private hatchery in PA. No doubt in my mind those fish likely moved down out of that creek to larger water.

I don't know if those fish are wild, but I am saying there are tigers privately stocked that are that size in PA.

And I have seen private clubs in my area that stock them as well. The small hatcheries are not overcrowded either, so the fins stay nice.

Post the URL? So you''re saying I'm full of sh@t? You are a smart guy...figure it ou on your own. I will not spot burn my new potential honey hole. I called Shane and he guessed the general area correctly. They can exist just about anywhere. A few years back, a walleye angler caught a 27" Brown in the Susky near Marysville. Not a trout stream anywhere near there on the west side of the river. I guess they live in places where we'd never expect them.

Well in that case, go to your new honey hole, catch some of those wild tiger trout, and post your own pics.

And yes I think either you or the "guide" whom you've got these pics from is full of "sh@t"

Last October I caught an 18" Tiger Trout from a stream I would never expect to catch one. The stream is stocked by the PFBC but not with Tigers. I did a little investigation and found out that TWO Tigers had been stocked privately in early May 2012 along with some nice Rainbows and Browns. Two Tigers in the whole stream and I caught one and it had been put in the water six months prior! What a nice surprise.

I have seen pictures of tigers caught around Fairmount park. they were 18+ fish. their is even a video of a trout sipping from the top on the fish ladder website. might be a sea run.

Yep, these fish did not have any runway rash. And in the end, they made the days of many young anglers. I'm not much for stockers, but they are great for young anglers just to get fish in their hands and practice their skills.
