Any fly shops in or near Washington county? Any place with a decent amount of fly fishing stuff that I know of is Cabela's, but they don't have to much for tying. Just wanted to know if there were any close by, don't mind driving an hour or more if there may be any where to fish near by....

Thanks in advance

International Angler is probably the closest, up in the Robinson Twp./Crafton area. Right on Rt 60 off I-79. Gander Mtn. in Washington has some stuff but very little, and virtually no knowledgeable staff.

There also used to be a shop on Rt 19 up near Canonsburg/Donaldsons Crossroads but I am pretty sure they closed a few years ago.

Ya I was trying to look a some up, found them and hook and hackle. It doesn't look like International Angler has much in fly tying, atleast not online, but some stores aren't really all online.

Do you know anything about Hook and Hackle? Is it online purchases only or can I drive there

They told me that you can pick up an order but they don't have a show room so you can't go there and rummage through the merch.

International angler has a decent supply of fly tying stuff. If you need anything they don't have they can order it for you. If I were you and heading up, I'd call first and see if they have some of the things you're looking for. Good guys up there. I buy much of my fly tying stuff there.

if you ever make it out to the State college area, you have two to choose from.
Flyfishers paradise and TCO. I prefer FFP by a significant margin, but TCO is very good. I patronize both as they each are better for certain items/gear.

IA is a large, full line fly shop. They just aren't an online shop. You'll probably find all the fly tying stuff you need there.

Well Hook And Hackle emailed me back, told me to call them so we can work something out. I more than likely end up going there, it's a little closer to me anyways. I will try and check International Angler out sometime soon though.
