Fly Fishing Alaska

This August, I will have the opportunity to travel to Levelock, Alaska to visit my daughter. She is a teacher in the small village of 65. Only 18 students from K-12. The Kvijack river is right outside her door. I know felt boots are prohibited. I am looking for advice from anyone who has fished this area. Should I tie my own flies, or purchase gear in Anchorage? There are no stores with in 300 miles of the village, so I must have all supplies on hand when I arrive. Any information on regulations is appreciated. She has caught fish on spinners and buggers. Here is a link to a lodge she has visited. She has a skiff, so we can travel the river.
Thank you

I would call the lodge and ask them. They should be able to answer your questions.

Hatches come and go of their own accord, but work will wait for you to get back.

Three Rivers Fly Shop in Wasilla is 45 min north of Anchorage -- great selection of flies and well stocked with fly fishing gear.
