I've surf fished at dawn on Portsmouth Island (Just south of Okracoke) watching the sun rise, with the smell of bacon, eggs and home fries in the air ..... and the "Phantom of the Opera" playing over loudspeakers right on the beach. Just doesn't get any better than that.

It seems most of you missed the OP's point, he doesn't listen to music with a device, he gets ear worms in his head, we all do, and 'listens' to the ear worms.

Roger that - on the "ear worms". Last night's selection was Steve Earle - Copperhead Road.

Steve Earle's music was so much better when he was on drugs... his music sucks now.

Just to clarify, I do not listen to music while I fish, just nature's beauty.

My wife and I spent the past 6 days at the cabin and listened to:

Foo Fighters
Nirvana
New Order
ELO (Eldorado and Face The Music)
The Fixx
Candlebox
America
Fleet Foxes
Billy Idol
Green Day
Led Zeppelin
Alan Parsons Project
INXS
Killers
The Cult
Eddie Money
The Beatles (White Album)
Steely Dan
The Offspring
Pink Floyd
Guster

Our Cabin Rocks.

I usually sing to the river lol... whatever is in my head. Carry on my wayward son, folsom prison blues, collections of my favorite old hymns... music and fishing make up the vast majority of my summertime life so I always have a song in my head on the creeks and rivers!
