i remember one winter 20 years ago or so. i would fish the quittie in the park and crossed paths with two other souls fishing it almost every time i was out, which was about every day. i don't recall ever getting thier names just that it was an older guy and his dad.
we would be in our own holes drifting glowbugs, the only people in sight. no noise, no birds, no bugs not a sound other than the creek flowing. "we" were there one time in a heavy snow, the ground already white, the trees laden with snow and still coming down, to the point you could hear it snowing and just the green creek flowing through it all. i don't recall the fish caught, just the time in the creek.
