Things have been clicking for me lately. Last fall was awful! This fall things are working out. Probably equal parts improved skill, luck, and discovering the green weenie! I just thought I'd share some of these pics since I enjoy the photography almost as much as the fishing. Feel free to share your pics too. enjoy.

Sweet!

Great pics, and looks like a great fall as well. Congratulations on taking your fishing up a notch or two...

Nice fish. did you catch them around Waynesboro?

The skinny brown, the only fish held vertically on the photos, appears to be a stocked fish. Is that possible in the stream where you caught the fish? If it is a stocked trout, it is a fine example of why some stocked trout do not survive the winter even though they might survive through the summer and into the fall. Unlike the obviously wild trout in your other photos, the apparently stocked fish is in poor physical condition and has most likely not adapted well to stream life in the stream from which it was caught OR spent the summer or much thereof in a warm stream, perhaps moving into "your" cooler wild trout stream only after the receiving stream warmed considerably, and doing so too late in the year to allow it to recover. My prediction? Released or kept...it's a "goner."

The two underwater shots are repeats of two other fish. So there are 8 fish total out of 10 pics. They were all caught around the W-boro area in two creeks. The first creek, Pics 1-4 is a freestone with lots of spring influence, not stocked. The second creek (pics 5-10) was the shocker for me. I assume it to be very warm in the summer. This section is not stocked but it is stocked about 2 miles upstream. I can see how some stockers might make their way down, why they would want to is a mystery, and probably a bad choice. There is little fishing pressure because as a local most people will say "There ain't no fish in there!" I've actually had people yell that at me while driving by. I found one good spring feeder and nice small but promising hole behind it. My motto on this creek is find the spring coming in (no matter how small) and there will be fish near by. It might be 500 chubs but there will be fish!

Very Nice!
