Had a nice day out with k-bob and Foxgap today on a ridiculously steep, rough, remote Brookie stream. Probably about as rough as it gets terrain wise in PA, and this now takes the top prize as the most extreme stream I've ever tackled in search of Trout. It's funny because this stream was probably #1 on my list of streams to do for over a year now, but something always got in the way...including a bout of food poisoning that cancelled an intended trip last Fall the night before...but after seeing it, climbing it, fishing it, not falling or breaking anything, and having a great time doing it, I oddly don't really have a strong urge to do it again...it's that much of a butt kicker. Pretty sure I'm gonna be sore tomorrow too.

Pretty place, pretty fish, pretty darn good company too...just thought I'd share a few pics...

If you recognize the stream from the pics, please don't name it in the thread. Thanks gang.

Was a great place and a great day. I, too, will be sore tomorrow but it was worth it. Swattie's pics are a great example of why I'm becoming a brookie snob!

Thanks guys for dragging me along!

I might have been on the same stream, except the lower portion? I got some pretty ones, and this 10" (it was measured lol). It was a beautiful day to be streamside!

Awesome. Love reading this type of report. If you wouldn't have told us this was in Pa I would have guessed VA or NC.

Awesome, glad you guys got to it. It's one of my favorites.

Did you start at the bottom and pass through, or hit only the upper half?

Don't bring your camera if you fell on your limestoner! You might kill yourself on this stream!

Kinda funny I never have been to this stream, but I know it just because of the description. Glad to hear you had a good time Swatster.
