He might be saying that the Pens fans do not tolerate mediocrity or even almost-been-ism for 36 years. But, I could be reading him wrong.

So this thread really doesn't have much to do with the Steelhead Jam anymore, does it?

Mostly because most of the guys who went couldn't catch much.

Cept me of course.

Steelhead are allergic to plastic fly rods.

This is very pertinent to the Steelhead Jam. We spent 2-3 days getting skunked or nearly skunked and the Flyers have had 36 years of it. Kinda sums up the mood by analogy.

I don't know what the hell it is you are doing the last couple days, but you are just dropping some good ones.

All it means is that you penguins fans have to be supportive even if you stink, if not your just a bandwagon fan. Obviously, your team was about to move somewhere else because no one supported them, so that means most penguins fans are bandwagoneers. Now......Let the hating me begin

You guys should of fished the salt instead . You probably would of caught more fish and even some bigger ones . And I'm sure it would of been a lot shorter drive for most and the same for the rest . I guess some people like fishing for stockies so much they will drive 6 plus hours to catch big ones .

Fredrick, I am really interested in fishing salt, I even had a conversation with FishIdiot about it at the jam. When I get myself a saltwater setup I will be interested in meeting up with you some time.

You need a bigger front seat, coz I'm 100% in.

Or, I suppose, you could ride with me.

I fished the ocean side of Hook once, mostly soaking bait. It was fun, but there's a few little coves on the bayside that looked highly appealing.

Alright, if I can get my trucklet inspected in the next week, I'll take you up on this. I'm now pushing 4 months overdue, so I should really minimize travel with it.

I'd have no idea what I'm in for, but expect me to hit you up with questions if we move closer to go.
