Shane - hang with me bud. I have enough flies tied up for the next 10 years! Your 6wt will be fine, and I'll have a few spare rods and reels along too.

We should plan on carpooling out there. Lots of room for gear in the back of my truck. Gene has squatters rights to the passenger seat of my Yota, but trowpa and a few others may be interested. That means YOU, gfen old buddy. The Hellement Express makes an Erie run...

I am completely up for the carpool idea. Between Ed and Lil Lenny, I should be in good hands with learning the steelie's secret's.

Don't even TRY to pretend you're a newbie at this.

Anyone that wants to learn how to fish wet flies for steelhead - this is the guy to watch.

Bruce - make sure you let Bob in on this. I emailed the big man already. Wonder if we can get Uncle Ed to go too....

9' 6wt is fine. That is my rod of choice throughout the seas ion. Late dates will probably be the best for the numbers of fish. It may be crowed but the folks you add the more the crowds seam to move away. Looks like if we(where I live) get little rain this fall it will be a seasons like last. The State and the clubs stocked 1.2 million steelhead 2 years ago so the numbers are there it all depends on the rain fall to keep the stream up. See you all in Nov.

Last year was by far the worst season as far as runs go up there for me and it showed in my catches.
But wouldnt ya know, the weekend we had the jam was about the best runs and fishing of the year.

I may be interested in going if I could carpool up with a few of the LV folks as well. Any of those weekends may work for me. I voted early November though.

I prefer to go to Pulaski though. I am definitely headed up there around the 3rd weekend in Nov. and I would like to go up at least one other time if anyone wants to carpool up for a weekend. I have no problem fishing in December or even January if anyone wants to go then.

any weekend is good for me seen i live here. cant wait to meet you guys and put a face with the names. Could be a late run this year very warm lake 75 degrees and very low streams. Unless we get a lot of rain and some cooler temps it will prob be early october before they start making it in. I will keep you posted on the conditions and when i start seeing fish coming in. I would say later is better i will be bow hunting most days off but could meet up a few hour a day or all day if im taged out buy then.

Unfortunately Greg is probably out this year. His wife is due right around those dates. I'll bring the donuts again and try to organize a few other things. I'm cheap as can be, so I'll probably camp out or if I'm lucky I'll share a room with a few guys. But I'm sure I can get the pavilion at Folly's again. He was very hospitable and willing to accomodate to us.

No matter what date we pick, I'll be up there a few other times and I'll send out the word so some of us locals can head up together.

I am not so much as cheap as I am restricted on cash so I would be happy to accommodate 3 guys in a hotel room...wait...that does not sound good. I don't mind sleeping on a floor.

Jack, do you mean more off than usual, because you always seem to be a little off.

I didn't vote because I live only an hour away and can probably do a day trip on any of them. Last year i just plain forgot about it.

But my vote is for sale.
