Today (4/6/2014) cumberland county, offered sunshine and warmer temps and…a caddis and blue winged olive hatches.

I saw a couple dozen caddisfly and what I believed to be two bwo. Tons of several kinds of midge as well...

Soon the skies will be filled. I have attached a photo of a dense hatch from two years ago taken while bass fish on the Conodoguinet. It was so impressive that I was taking video.

Pocono freestones report. I fished two low elevation freestoners (Class A) in the Poconos this weekend. Both had mid 40's for water temp and BWO's and black caddis were active from noon until around 6 pm. Trout were rising. Spring is here!

Greene County Report--

Closed season and there still are no hatches. Fish elsewhere.
