You can keep beating that horse, but its not a very good argument at all. Please try harder.

Capitalization, punctuational (other than exclamation points) and avoiding run on sentences seems to be the greatest competition.

No interest at all in competitive fly fishing as a sport, but I'm always up for learning effective methods of fishing. Not my thing, but have no contempt for those that enjoy it.

pressure release-a day on the stream-we really don't want to worry or care if we are good enough to make "the bigs".
My brother came up to Montana to fish with me,I did my very best to help him and was happy to see him do well.He didn't understand why I was glad he caught a bigger fish than I did,one day.
He felt we were competing-I wanted to be a gracious host.
same Parents,different values.

There is a difference between Competitive Fly Fishing and the competition between Brothers.

Brothers and forgive me for what I am about to say..don't really rally as a team unless there is something that both boys don't want Mom..or Dad to know or something equalivent.. I do know that both do get more reassurance in life from a sibling or Grandparent, then they do from both Mom or Dad.

Sometimes they act like jerks to each other but they really just want you to be proud of them..no matter how old. I can't tell you anything about Sisters, I have one Brother and 2 sons. I can tell you that your Brother probably tells all of his friends what a great trip he had and I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with fish.

The first words out of my older sons mouth when he hits home is to ask where his Brother is and his Brother asks low key when he's coming home again when he isn't here. They torment each other in between. LOL!

Once had a beat on a stream 150 feet long, and caught 87 trout in 4 hours. I'd say if there's something I need to learn about FFing, it's nymphing technique. The only way for me to learn is to have a mentor fishing with me, not watching competition.

I picked the first choice. I just don't think the words "competitive" and "fly fishing" belong in the same sentence. JMHO

Sure, one is pointless and the other is pointlessly stupid.

Assign as desired.
