I have been seeing a couple deeper holes that I fish this year seem to be stirred up and cloudy every time I fish them now. I said it to a gentleman fishing he said he thought it was that there is carp in the holes stirring it up has a more muddy bottom but even when it doesnt rain its colored up. Just curious on your thoughts if it could just be the more muddy bottom making it cloudy or it could be carp, suckers?

Could be a carp, but if it was you'd probably see a carp swimming around in there at some point. Could also be the weather. Down here in SE PA we've had rain just about everyday for the past two weeks, all the creeks are pretty much cloudy, especially the deeper, slower moving pools. Have you guys been getting much rain in Central PA?

I know it clouds up when it rains this when it has not rained even in a week or two thats why I asked what else it could be since it does it even when it doesnt rain for a while. It's real deep in there no doubt there is carp in there and suckers but I didnt know it it would be that being it has a muddy bottom or just the way that riffle flows into it if it just stirs it up.
