Here's the most recent update as of about 5 hrs ago:

GEESEYTOWN, Pa.—An autopsy is scheduled on the body of a man whose body was found by kayakers in a river in central Pennsylvania.

The Centre Daily Times ( http://bit.ly/165qtBg) reports the boaters found the body submerged in the water on the Little Juniata River outside of Tyrone in Blair County on Thursday evening.

The man's name is not being released, but investigators say he is a 28-year-old man.

The death is under investigation and an autopsy is scheduled for Friday.

As of last night's news: No water found in the man's lungs. As of that news, the coroner has determined that the death is suspicious.

Wow, that's such a shame. Seems to be a lot going on around the little "J" lately.

Here's the latest (my bold):

TYRONE, BLAIR COUNTY - The Blair County Coroner is calling the death suspicious.

The man who died has been identified as 28 year-old Dominic Balzano of Altoona. Kayakers on the river discovered the body around 5 Thursday afternoon.

Belzano was found in the shallow water of the Little Juniata outside Tyrone in Snyder Township. Authorities are still trying to determine the circumstances. There are plenty of questions about how his body came be floating in the Little Juniata.

Balzano's autopsy was held Thursday afternoon but the results were inconclusive according to Blair County Coroner Patty Ross. Ross said that additional microscopic and toxicology testing will be done in part because there was no water found in the lungs of Balzano. She is currently calling this death "suspicious."

His father is the Pastor of the Pleasant Valley Assembly of God Church in Altoona.

Wow. Doesn't sound like Family business to me.

I feel for the kayakers. The shock takes a few days to wear off. Sadly I have found two bodies, both times it made me very sad and depressed.

It makes you realize that life is fragile, even though it doesnt seem it mostly.

That is sad. 28 is way to young.

A relative found a body canoeing in VA. Apparently the FBI showed up and they had to give statements. They never found out why the Feds came but they never heard anything more about it.

Geebee, how is it that you have found two bodies?

no, one was walking along the beach in India and i found him at the bottom of a high cliff. the verdict that he was drunk taking a whizz off the cliff and fell off.

the other one was at work in Boston. I was the first one in one morning and the night security guard had thrown himself off the roof 7 floors up...

that was a real shaker for me. such a waste. he was just a kid. as I said, it took me a few days to get over it. very sad I was.
