The nominations have been made and the polls are open for the Best Fly Fishing Town in Pennsylvania. There several categories in considering our best town including: fly fishing water, fly shops, restaurants, taverns, travel distance, accommodations, shops and other actvities.

Wellsboro, Hello!

PA Grand Canyon,
Wellsboro Dinner,
The town,
Big Meadows Fly Shop,
The zoo,
and a lot of fishing both wild and stocked!

Everything about Bellefonte is fishy.
Besides the great spring creek going right thru the heart of town, you have logan branch and buffalo run feeding into it from opposite directions right there.
And bald eagle creek just a few miles away.
The neat section of stream in the park where you can feed all the giant fish.
And all these streams just full of wild trout year round.

All the amenities that a fisherman would need are very handy also
Nice restaurants and lodging.
And 2 large flyshops 10 miles or so down the road in state college
What more could a flyfisherman want?

Great area for fishing
Great Camp grounds(Hemlock acres)
Best flyshop and owner
Close to Bellefonte and State College!

one of the best streams on the east coast -- penns
close to fishing creek, spring creek
an old town with just the essentials

I voted for millheim, bellefonte would be my second choice, really, any town in that area of the state can be considered a fishing town! fun poll!!

Bellfonte until retirement, then HUNTINGDON
