The message board participants have been gathering for the past 10 years at our annual "Jamboree." Basically, we show up at a predetermined camping location and enjoy fishing and fun from Friday through Sunday.

Here is a page that explains in more detail:

PAFF 2008 Jamboree Information Page

I got permission from Rudy at Hemlock Acres campground to publish the campground map, which now appears on the info page.

So, are you coming?

PS, I'll be there Monday 5/12 through Sunday 5/18.

Gonna try to make it, but I meet up with my brother and some good friends for a camping trip to the Little J every year the weekend between Mother's Day and Memorial Day. I'll be staying @ the campground in Barre, if anyone fishes the "J". Might make a road trip for the campfire and get a hat.

I will be there Thursday to Sunday. Can't wait to meet some of you, catch some fish, and the fire ring in the evening sounds like it might be quite memorable....

George,

There are no memories for some of us. That's what makes it memorable.

I am going to try like heck to make it to my first Jam, but it depends on the circumstances.

I live less than 30 minutes away, so there realy is no excuse.

Can't make it. The new schedule has me working from Friday night straight through Sunday night. Yeah, it sounds like a tremendous ammount of hours, but most of it is down time at the station.

I'll be there. I hope to come up Thu thru Mon, but you never know, I may extend the stay and/or come earlier.

Jack Steel & neighbor will be coming and staying w/me.

Jack M: I can donate some firewood over to your site for the evening festivities.

A few weeks ago I talked to Jonas and he's anxious to come up and visit us. He said he wouldn't mind even tying some flies, or whatever.

I'm pretty sure I'm heading up this Fri to fish Penns over the weekend. I was up 2 weeks ago and did well w/ caddis. This is the time of the year I've been waiting for all winter.

I might even have a beer or two...

John

Jack let me bring the firewood from Johns camper.....don't EVER let John near the firewood....You will be up all night!

I think we need to contact Jonas and firm up a fireside chat for Saturday night. You can never get enough of Jonas's insight on Penns. I am mezmorized by Penns Creek and its hatches. I cannot wait.

I was hoping to get there Wednesday but it looks like it will be more like Thursday now as the schedule fills. I am blowing off a softball practice on Thursday to come early but have to be back by Monday night for our first regular season game of my daughters team. I am also using a weeks vacation because I work on the weekend. I have attended every Jamboree so far...the only one who can make that claim I believe.

I'm stoked, I will be there with the hats and bumper stickers and my swap items and um....beer.

See you there.

Maurice

I'll be camped at Poe Paddy with my dad. We'll try to make it up the hill for one of the campfires. Which night will be the best to make the vist? Save me a hat!
