there's 2 that have survived the baiters and eagle. one in pic is over 18"
 
And I thought for awhile I was the only one who catches chubs!! Great to know I am not alone.

 
chubs are actually difficult to catch - you have to sneak up on them, fish the structure, lead the fish etc.

Shame on you boys for calling those nice Fallfish Chubs!
 
If you catch them in the spring are they called "Spring Fish"?

 
Amen! Those are certainly not chubs but Fallfish...and Fallfish are willing biters on dry flies and quite fun on a fly rod.

I agree they are fun to catch. Nymphs really do the trick for me.
