Jay and Don T and I had a great time on the Horn and smaller streams. I really wish we could have hit the Yellowstone harder, but as it turned out the Horn was fishing better anyway since the level was dropped the day they got to Fort Smith (I timed it that way.).

I was really glad that the Horn was fishing like she should for Jay and Don after being blown off the Yellowstone. Try as much as we did to stick some big ole browns on buggers those pesky rainbows kept getting to the flies first. We saw some nice browns, but the biggest fish were rainbows, two were very easilly over twenty inches.

Here are a few more pics. Wish I had time for more, but I gotta get back to the Horn this afternoon. The last pic is from the guys from Pa a couple weeks ago. TDB, it is amazing to see how high the river was now that it is getting back to its "normal" flow.

Seriously, do it. I was physically sore and had blisters on my hands when I got home, but my battery has never been so recharged.

I went from just plain wanting to quit my job to wanting to quit my job and move to montana. That's progress!

Pics look great.

JayL, I can relate to your desire. I'll have my computer science degree after this fall and am planning on moving to Colorado next summer, getting certified in guiding, and then try to live the dream (while hopefully freelance web designing on the side and off season). Let's just say I hope to never "write code like it's my job" lol.
