There are still trout in one of my favorite streams(swattie87 knows of where I speak) the water is low, cold and the rocks are hard(as my butt found out when my crutch slipped)and for the first time in recent memory I didn't lose any flies, and my signiture says it all for today.

Yeah I stopped by there Sunday morning with my father in're right, they're still in there but they're hard/almost impossible to catch right now. Fished from the upstream most bridge to about halfway up the hill before calling it quits and heading over to the Swatara. Did get one really ugly and skinny stocker Brookie, but I think he was desperate to eat anything by the looks of him.

On the plus side the Fallfish in the Swatara are killing a swung WB right now.

Glad you're ok Hop, and hope you enjoyed the cigar! We'll have to meet up there sometime...after a decent rain of course!

Sometimes I wonder if I smoke to fish or fish to smoke. A nasty habit I have developed indeed. But I sure do enjoy a good cigar on the stream. On a particularly stressful week, the creek and a smoke is enough.
