"Joined" Dates in Post Brief Profile

What does the "Joined" date mean in our avatar/profile when we post? It shows 2007 for me and Maurice shows 2006. I met Maurice at one of the early Jams (2001). I was a member in 2000 so I assume that all "Joined" dates have something to do with a database "restart"? Thanks in advance.

Yes, the dates were recorded after the site moved from the old to the new. As the transition took place and people joined the new site, they got a date affixed to their profile.

Thanks for the response. And I will apologize in advance that I have not been tracking PAFF events but people like you Jack, had thousands of posts and now a handful? What triggered that? Again, I am sorry for not checking in more often.

We had a problem with the database and the post numbers got reset for everyone.
