Early April Mayfly ID Help

Hi folks,
This is my first season taking fly fishing pretty seriously and I managed to catch my first two trout on a dry fly April 14

They took a parachute Adams and I thought it would be cool to know the predominate bug on the water and what my fly may have been imitating during that accomplishment. It was on a wild trout stream in southeastern PA.

I do not profess to know much of anything about bug ID, so any help here would be appreciated!

Was it a big bug, medium sized or small?

Was the body dark or light? We’re the wings speckled?

Did the wings look like a sailboat? (Mayfly) Or were they folded over? (Caddis-stonefly)

Blue wing olives , quill gordons , Hendrickson- mayflies you could google if the wings look like sailboats

Grannom caddis, tan caddis or black stone fly - Google up and see if these are what you saw.

There is a bug life cycle and different bugs explained here on the blog tab. Also consult a hatch chart which is also listed on the site. Good luck.
