What size/sizes of thingamabobbers should I get for steelhead fishing in elk creek in erie?

I use small and medium size in Erie. Small (1/2 inch) for low and clear and medium (3/4 inch) when conditions are good.

Small on Erie. Medium on rivers a bit larger.
