was using a Cortland D200 on my 14' 10wt. spey until I found this. A Redington AL 13/14 wt. reel. Now we are ready for this year. middle reel is a 9/10 and spool is a 5 wt. for comparison.

is that for tuna ?

i'm not sure i'd want to lug a 13/14 weight reel all day. I use a loop CLW 9/11 to minimise the weight.

for back up i have a SA System II LA 9/10.

14' 10wt, I hope that's not for your local waters?! I was planning on bringing a 4wt trout spey when I come up your way in case I get a chance to fish Pine. I'm starting to feel like I might be under-gunned...

On a side note, When I do come up it looks like I'll be travelling on a Sunday(not sure which one, yet). I believe you're open that day. I'll do my best to stop in and say Hi. Tight lines!

The rods are different in the two pictures. First rod looks like a baitcasting rod. Definitely not the same as the spey rod in the second picture. What gives Sandfly?

first pic is a cut off rod for spooling backing. second is spey rod...
