Gonna pick one up just looking for some insight and i know do u like the way it casts is gonna come up but learning the rod is part of the fun for me at least.

old
if you really want one...wouldn't pay more than $75/50 for it

its 80 with a new tip section and new handle and hardware

honestly... thats 2x as much as you should pay

its a broken rod with fixes... so you can assume no warranty and expect less than par work (unless you are familiar with who fixed it)

I have a 9' 5 weight rocky mountain rod - about 20 years old I think.
It cost around $160 I believe then, and certainly wasn't one of their higher end rods for sure. Didn't come with the 25 year warranty.
And mine isn't in very good shape. The handle is falling apart, and I've had to rewind a few of the guides.
I don't even use it anymore

So, $80 for one now? I don't know if I would do that either
