i hear they are super easy to handle warranty wise. not sure if they are american made...i hear for the price they are good rods but you will never get a high end quality rod for the 60 bucks. but i know alot buy them as back ups from reading the reviews on amazon. i was going to pick one up as a back up awhile ago but i found a sale on a redington so went that direction.

I have their 9/10wt in the cheapest model. Fished the Salmon River with it this year for the first time. It held up great, but by no means is it a quality rod. I figure for 1 trip a year max, I didn't want to break the bank on a rod and wouldn't mind if I broke it. For that situation I wouldn't hesitate in buying one.

Now for a rod that you fish quite often, I would say look elsewhere for a better quality rod. The rod was quite "broom stick" like and the components were very cheap.
