I have a pair of Korker wading boots with the speed lacing system, which I like for quick on and off.

Here is my problem, sometimes I find that one side of the wire (lace) is a lot more slack then the other?

Anyone else experience this or have a fix?

Korkers is pretty quick at getting back to you with any gear questions. I would suggest also asking them this question.

tighten them 50%
lean forward on the tounge
it will take the slack out of the lower boot and even things up a bit

@mike - I did just that, got an email in to them. Thanks.

@slumdumb - I'll give that a try. Thanks.

I had this exact same problem. Easy fix. Set aside 15 minutes.

Remove the cap with the tool.

There should be a white piece with gear teeth inside (still attached to boot). Gently pry it out.

It should spring and all you need to do is carefully unravel it.

Center it (hold it above the boot and finagle with the laces until they look even.

Put it back in, attach the cap back on, and wind it up.

That shows you the beginning part, and gives you an image in your head. If you are having more troubles PM me.

Gaeronf,

Awesome, thank you very much. I will give that a try. I do have one of those t6 screwdrivers, if that's that the Korkers take like the Sims.
