Could anyone tell me the value of this rod? It is a kingfisher bamboo rod 3 pc 8"6"

Best guess on the rod is Montague made for Tryon Co. in Philly as Kingfisher was a trade name for their ham&eggs line of tackle. Reel seat and grasp leans that way versus post WW2 Japanese made Kingfisher models. Union Hdware and Heddon also made rods with this name. Value, $30 to 50 if my guess is right. Better pics of ferrules and any script on shaft along with color of windings would help more. Also you did'nt give the overall condition(sets, delam,etc.) The reel looks to be a Shakespeare/Russell/Kalamazoo Tackle 1684 . One on the auction site right now. Patch em up and pound them. (Check for split ferrules before you load her up.) Good luck
