Hodgman stockingfoot wader for $8.87

I was in Walmart the other day and saw these Hodgman waders for $8.87-

If they're waterproof then they've already got one big advantage over the $300-$425 waders that I've bought. :-D

Very interesting to say the least, but you get what you pay for. My Simms Lightweights' are 8 years old and have served me well. I know they'll give up the ghost someday, so I won't complain if and when they fail.

for 8 bucks you could ball em up and put them in the glove box for that day when your good ones spring a leak on a good trip.
