While heading to SR one year, we stopped at the Cortland Outlet. My buddy snagged a ProCast for $80-$90. It's a cast reel with a pretty strong drag. Is it the quality of a Galvan? NO

I snagged one on ebay for under $25 and will use it to hold my sink tip on the 6wt which gets used 5 days a year....if I'm lucky.

This would be an inexpensive back up or a pretty decent starter reel for someone getting into the sport.

**IMPORTANT NOTE**
Cortland doesn't make, sell or warranty their reels any longer. If you break it, you're out of luck. I believe the guy has a case of 30 reels. Simply search "cortland pro cast 5/6" on the auction place.
