I am in agreement with the many on this. Net up, handle down, attached to a magnet hung in the center of my back with a tender attached to snap on the back side of my vest. The tender still gets caught sometimes when you are brush busting, but it easily detaches. I had some other fancy magnets that quickly failed, but 6 years ago I purchase a relatively inexpensive large net magnet from Field and Stream that has worked great for years. Just keep it away from the sand which seemed to be filled with iron particles on the streams I fish. It not easy to get the sand of once it grabs on.
