My Father in law bought me a really nice cabelas fly vest two years ago. I do like the vest for a few reasons, it's got many many pockets and I can fit all my gear and more fly boxes than I could possibly need in a day or two trip. However, come mid summer that vest starts to get a little heavy and warm in the sun. I found a knockoff of the fishpond double haul on eBay. I really like the appeal and slimness of the pack plus the addition of the water bladder access. The removable chest pack is also a perk. It seems to have all the tool storage I could need. My concerns is the access to fly boxes. I feel as though I could probably only get 2 maybe 3 boxes in the front of the bag. I can get the rest I would want to carry in the back bag but I feel it might be a pain to take everything off just in order to access a fly box. I didn't know if anyone else had one of these and could comment on how well things go while using this pack. Thanks in advance for any advice.
