"Zonker" strips are rabbit fur strips cut with the grain of the fur vs. cross-cut strips, which are cut against the grain. These CC strips are used more for palmering, or in plain english, wrapping around the hook, rather than being tie in along the shank and extending beyond the bend like a zonker fly.

Anyway, I Googled "zonker rabbit strips" and several pages of places to buy them popped up. Most fly shops that sell fly-tying material should have them. HTH.

"Zonkered". Never seen it

"Zonker strips" is interchangeable with "rabbit strips"

Zonker strips are sold at most fly shops. Cableas has them. Google Zonker strips, you'll find them.
