here it is: The Salmon's Salmon Fly
1---tie in lead, biots and abdomen (swannundaze #11)
2--- wrap abdomen
3---tie in wing case and legs
4---wrap thorax (for this fly I used Scintilla # 8 snazzy salmon)
5---tie forward legs, then wingcase
6--- tie in flexi floss (spandex) color with sharpie salmon
7---tie off and coat head and wingcase with sally hansons top coat (dries in like 30 seconds)
8---finished fly

Hey sandfly,

You're the man! You delivered on your promise, and it's before most people are up. Kudos sir, kudos.

What type of feather are you using for the legs? Could I just use something like a dyed Mallard Flank?
 
I use my own stock from my birds, reason I am breeding them. a mallard will work too, just have to come down and get some special feathers...lol
