Smashed some fish last night about 10pm on my new honey hole. I went through 6 flies between beat ups and I lost a pig resting on my thigh. Tying up some replacements so I figured I'd share. These are fishing flies, they are much prettier when I take my time.

Fishing Creek,
Very nice, I prefer biot and quill bodies on my dry flies,i don't do very well with cahills except on the Lehigh or Delaware Rivers.I have never done well on freestoners with cahills either.I like your tie,and fishing the fly is what its all about.

Thanks, I usually do well on the Lehigh, east bran h and fishing creek. Longer tails and a tad over sized seem to work.best.

FCE,

that fly looks sharp. what are you using for tail material on this?

Just curious which Fishing Creek are you refering to?

Big John, I really enjoyed our visit streamside the other day. You were right it was slow. We all ended up with three trout each. I got two nice rainbows and a 13-14" wild brown. Take care.
