hunting season coming up

since hunting season is here, now is the time to put a bug into all your hunting friends about saving those feathers and furs for you.
i told a bunch of my duck hunting friends to save me all those wood duck feathers. this is an easy way to get some of those expensive wood duck feathers.

You have to wash them and split the tail to debone, then salt or borax the inside area (meaty). let dry for 3 weeks before storing.

After the tails are dry ,they dye up nice using Rit dye
