I'll host.

Rules:

-Limit of 10 people

-you will tie 2 flies per person, which means 20 flies plus whatever you wanna throw in for the mods. (optional)

-Both flies will be the exact same pattern

-Tie your favorite dry or wet winter midge pattern, size 20 or smaller (sorry, but I've been in too many midge swaps were guys tie size 14 midges that are of no use around here)

-You must include a self addressed stamped envelope to mail the flies back to you

-Tags are optional, but helpful. You can also just post your pattern here so we know what you tied.

With the holidays looming, I'll set the deadline to January 15th to receive all flies. I will have them in the mail hopefully by Jan 20th at the latest.

Please only sign up if you plan on sticking to it and completing your flies.

I'm in........ if JackM, Maurice, Sasquatch, FarmerDave, and PoconoPaul will also tie flies for this swap?

My fly: A size 20 beadhead black Zebra Midge with a dub thorax.

I've had great success all winter long with that midge. Muddy and Breeches with snow on the ground, ..... Forget about it!

And, yes, I'll send extra flies for the moderators....... and my good friend Pete41.

Mike,

Are you tying in this swap? Is there just one spot open after Eunan?
