Do you spin them into a dubbing loop?

Heavy gauge wire for harness? I thought this was a dry fly kitten recipe?

We all know cats don't float....when they are put in a bag full of rocks.

So you're suggesting that they should be fished as nymphs?

Thing-a-ma-Bobbers can be used to adjust depth and angle-of-attack. Pink or white.

Honestly that sounds more like bait than a fly. You're not one of those type of people, are you?

Recipe :
14 pounds of Yellow lab dubbing
3 pounds white cat dubbing
6 strands of pearl flash
Copper wire stripped from power pole
4 packages of peacock hurl
18 jungle cock eyes
#18 dry fly hook
Blend together, strap to hook with paracord, whip finish 2x apply floatant

Can you post a photo?

Pro what about the Cheetos dust? How is that applied? It must be important. Its in the name.

Mmmmm cat, "the other white meat".

Cheeto dust blended with Lab and Cat dubbing. Adds a little flavor and color, McSneek if I ever learn to post a photo I will. Finished fly may end up looking like FarmerDave laughing at a FART joke while trying to tie a knot

What tippet do you recommend for an 18lb fly? Is the Cheetos dust FFO legal?

I don't think the color matters so much. Everyone knows it's shape or contrast that attracts the fish. This might do the trick:
