If someone were to tye more than two dozen, would you prefer multiples of 24 of the same fly? Or, different patterns?

Hi Tale,
Welcome to our online FF community - we're glad to have you!

Best wishes to your son at the youth camp. I'm a volunteer at the camp. We have had some alumni of the youth camp as regular participants in this forum over the years. It was at the camp that they got their start in FFing and cold water conservation.

To those of you who have sent flies to me for the camp: thank you!

There's still some time if you'd like to contribute (due by end of May). Please send me a PM if interested.

Dave,
Are you able to list the flies you have received or will receive? I will tie 24 flies, but I do not want to provide duplicate patterns others have provided.

Any trout flies are appreciated.

Looking through this thread, it appears we have:

Bead head hare's ear
zebra midge
black wet fly
pheasant tail
yellow/orange "Y2K"

"The kids need basic, bread and butter trout flies. For what it is worth, they will be fishing for stocked trout on Yellow Breeches in June."

Then I think some Cahill comparaduns would be appropriate. Please PM a forwarding address.
