I mainly lurk this:

Flymph Forum

Low volume, with a few quite knowledgeable and friendly members. Note on your first landing it looks like there has been no activity since 2009. That is not the case. Not sure why the 2009 date is always there but rest assured there is an active group there.

Poor quality materials and tools are destined to discourage beginner tiers and cause greater expense when the time comes to replace them.

Fly tyers can be masters at making things complicated!
