Peacock eyes uses?

I have a "pile" of peacock eyes that I got from a former hobbiest. So...I have a bunch of the deep blue and was wondering if anyone used that part for any specific fly?

you can strip the eyes to tie quill bodied flies

Thanks nfrechet. I've been doing that with the peacock hurl with good results. Stripping the "blue eye" part does seem to be easier...or I should say faster.

I've never used the eyes for anything.
The main problem being that, besides being blue, their a lot smaller in size than the rest of the green hurls
