This is a shot at the Common Shiner. The head didn't come out as well as I would like.

Looks good to me. I am not really sure what you mean about the head not coming out well. Hard to tell from the pics. Proportions look good. Colors look good. What size hook is in there?

I like it, head and all. Looks like it would work for fall stripers in the salt.
