I found this cool site surfing the web through the Hatches website.

Very nice Pattern dictionary.

interesting, not one dry fly pattern

Theres alot of winged wet's there. I tye the "Hunt" and the "Indian yellow". I just tye em as a variation on the good old March Brown. And did anyone see the 8x long streamer hooks on some of the fly. I dont think anyone makes those anymore.

I have a bunch of those monster streamer hooks that were passed on to me. The hook gap sucks, but they're cool.

I am going to start tying feather wing streamers. They look effective. Pete raves about them. Why not?

Some interesting flies. I have plenty of buck tail so I will have to tie some of the bucktail streamers and give them try.

Feather wings look sharp, and they look great on an 6xl, but tie them Matuka style, and 4xl.

Mustad 94720's are 8x. They're ugly, but they work.
Mike Martinek hooks at belvoirdale.com are available in 6x, 8x, and 10x.

I have some sz.2 10x long I tie on for trolling along with a few special salt water 10x long hooks. Fishing the lakes for landlocks they are great in NY.
