Just want to thank all the organizers and participants in the fly tying swaps this year. I always marvel at your talents and want to extend a thanks for those that share in this.

I know not everyone get's to the blog, but added something about your efforts there.

The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary. H. L. Mencken

I just wanted to add to this. I am fairly new at fly tying and I took part in the begginer swap and the holiday swap this year. It was a great experience and I was welcomed by more advanced tyers to take part even though my flies may not be the same calliber as those they are tying. The swaps are a great way to see new flies and new techniques. I really appriciate those who ran the swaps and everyone involved for making it such an inviting event to take part in.

Thanks to the board mods and everyone involved in this board for making new guys like myself feel welcome.

Hope everyone has a merry christmas!
