First fish off flies i tied!

I went to the little lehigh today to try out some flies that i tied as i just started tying about two weeks ago

I landed four today 2 rainbows and 2 browns
caught two on a hares ear variation
one on a olive woolly bugger
and another on a midge pattern

Congratulations! Once you know you can do it, you will put your own creations on with the same confidence as any $2 fly.

You should see some of my first ties that caught fish. You wouldn't want to be caught dead with them on the end of your tippet.

I am willing to bet the golf clubs start collecting dust.... try tying some smallmouth bass flies... then you will be hooked. The spring hatches will flow into smallmouth fishing in the summer... then when things cool off in the fall you will be back to the trout! This is how my years go...i haven't even looked at my "sticks" since '04!
