Recently got an order for 25 winged wets, so i started the set last night with the Olive Trout Fin

Also had cause to tie a Mrs Simpson, though this one is an xxl variant, with ostrich herl tail rather than black fur. Body is red wool underneath the pheasant, and can also be tied with yellow wool

Love fishing the Mrs. Simpson, I fish it low and slow on deep pools, excellent flies as usual.

I love to admire pictures of wild brook trout and your flies, both are beautiful things.

I knew that I saw this post from my phone and I've been meaning to leave a comment. Took me a minute to find it. The olive fin is great. I like the wings tied in that way. looks great.
