great stuff there..........hey i thought caddis hatched in riffles!
 
Wow, they really move around a lot. Watching the larva is more inspiring than watching someone tie a pattern.

That video makes me want to tie tiny bits of marabou on small hook just to replicate that action. It's worth a try at least.
 
That's a really cool video. I'm trying to imagine what they would look like in moving water, and I'm guessing a lot of tumbling along the bottom with occasional fast sprints to the surface. It makes sense of the whole drift and swing lift method of fishing.
