Top fly is submerged. Bq-56 body with a rabbit fur hot spot & an old yellow/olive cdc mix encompassed in a dubbing loop. Interesting to note the overall color change.

Thanks longbow, Jim. I have not fished this one, but have fished one yesterday like it without the hot spot and a hackle/dubbing blend instead of cdc for the collar. It proved very effective. I'll let you know when I get out with this one, I anticipate good things with this one as well.

I love it. What is Bq-56 body material? I have seen flies tied with cat gut, which look a lot like this, but I can not find any cat gut at my local shops.
