Are the head waters up to the lake posted? I believe there was a large club somewhere at some time posting much of the water. Still there? Thanks!!

I would say it's posted, as it was 35 years ago. When my buddy and I saw posted signs back then we thought they meant "the fishing is great here". We just didn't care.
Anyway, my friend's parents had a mountain house right near the town Newfoundland/Greentown, off of Rt 507. Not very far from LWC. We used to fish a section of the creek that was polluted with really nice wild browns! This was, at that time, owned by a man named James K. Stone, who actually had metal posted signs along the stream. I have no idea who's land it is today, but I would imagine the fishing is still very good. :-D
